Oscar A Alea MD

Dr. Oscar A. Alea was born in New York City, has lived in Fort Myers for 25 years, and is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Alea received his medical degree from Central Eastern University School of Medicine. He completed his Pediatric Residency at New York Medical College. At Tulane University School of Medicine, affiliated with Tulane Hospital for Children and the Constance Kaufman Center for Disorder of Sleep and Respiratory Control, Dr. Alea underwent fellowship for Pediatric Pulmonology. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine. Dr.Alea has done medical research at Ochner Medical Center and Golisano children's Hosp of Southwest Florida.

Additionally, Dr. Alea is the Southwest Florida Cystic Fibrosis Clinic director. Not only has he been published in multiple publications, but he also co-authored medical textbooks related to Pediatric Lung Disease and Sleep Medicine. Moreover, Dr.Alea has served children in Lee, Collier, and Charlotte County for over 25 years and has offices in Fort Myers, Naples, and Charlotte county.
